Boston – May 29th, 2010

Going home for a while is good for the soul. Boston. The accents, the attitudes, the feel, even the way the trees look all remind you that you’re home. And the Red Sox. Our friends Steve and Amy set us up at Fenway. I don’t know if Fenway Park will remain after it turns 100 years old in 2 years. Maybe they’re waiting for that milestone to pass before demanding a new park, but for now it, and it’s manual scoreboard still stands.

It takes 3 guys to work the scoreboard. They get $50 each per game, and there’s a huge waiting list for their jobs. The current crew haven’t missed a game in years except when one got married and the other was in his wedding.
